Most people take microdose capsules on a set schedule, for example one day on and two days off, and keep a few notes each day on sleep, mood and energy. Regular breaks of a couple of weeks every month or two help keep tolerance in check. Research on microdosing is still early and placebo-controlled studies have produced mixed results, so it is wise to keep expectations realistic and pay attention to what is true for you.

Start with a single capsule on a quiet day at home so you can see how it affects you before taking one on a workday. If you clearly feel altered, the amount is more than a microdose for you, and you may prefer to split capsules or choose a gentler product. Do not drive until you know how it affects you.

Store capsules in their original labelled bottle with the lid tightly closed, somewhere cool, dry and dark. Keep them locked away from children and pets.

A microdose is still psilocybin. Do not use if you are under 19, pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a personal or family history of psychosis or bipolar disorder.
