You get a 10-capsule pack each of Brain Formula, Calm, Focus, Energy and Adapt, so you can try every blend and find the one that suits your routine before you commit to a full bottle. It costs less than buying the five packs one at a time.

It comes in one size: five packs of 10 capsules, 50 capsules in all. Every 500mg capsule carries 50mg of Golden Teacher (Psilocybe cubensis), so each pack holds 500mg and the whole bundle 2.5g. At 50mg a capsule this is the gentle end of microdosing, a good place to start if you're new to it.

Brain Formula is the Lion's Mane blend. Each capsule holds 425mg Lion's Mane (Hericium erinaceus), 50mg Golden Teacher and 25mg niacin (nicotinic acid, vitamin B3). Niacin can cause a brief warm, red or itchy skin flush that passes on its own.

Calm pairs Golden Teacher with Reishi, ashwagandha and L-theanine. Each capsule holds 275mg Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum), 100mg ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), 75mg L-theanine and 50mg Golden Teacher.

Focus is built around Ginkgo. Each capsule holds 275mg Ginkgo (Ginkgo biloba), 100mg Gotu Kola (Centella asiatica), 75mg phosphatidylserine and 50mg Golden Teacher.

Energy pairs Golden Teacher with Cordyceps, ginseng and ginger, and has no caffeine. Each capsule holds 275mg Cordyceps (Cordyceps militaris), 100mg ginseng (Panax ginseng), 75mg ginger (Zingiber officinale) and 50mg Golden Teacher.

Adapt is the Rhodiola blend. Each capsule holds 300mg Rhodiola (Rhodiola rosea), 150mg Eleuthero (Eleutherococcus senticosus) and 50mg Golden Teacher.

Neuro Botanicals suggests 1 to 2 capsules as needed, taken with a meal and kept an hour apart from any other medication, supplement or caffeine. To compare the blends fairly, stay with one for a week or two before moving to the next, and write a line each evening about sleep, mood and energy. A common rhythm is one day on and two days off; tolerance builds within days, so the rest days matter. Expect small changes over weeks, if any.
